Higher Sails - Working Classroom

Higher Sails – Albuquerque was a public art project, involving teenagers and South Valley businesses, produced as part of an NEA Our Town grant with Working Classroom.
Over the course of 4 weeks, seven teens participated in a workshop based on store signage, typography, and social concerns. They fabricated new storefronts for three South Valley businesses and text based designs that challenged the role of advertising.
